Bill Maher Takes on Obama, Cheney, and Hillary Clinton
It’s been a few months since Bill Maher has been on the air and a few things have happened in the meantime—including the inauguration of a new president. In an exclusive rant for The Daily Beast, Maher takes shots at his favorite targets: George Bush, Dick Cheney, Hillary Clinton and yes, even the Obamas. He even offers a few “New Rules.”
The new season of Real Time with Bill Maher starts February 20 at 10 p.m.

Why would anyone apart from the tiny MSNBC audience care what this extremely small and disturbed man has to say about anything. He is, I suppose, supposed to be a satirist, but satire is supposed to be funny, not just ugly and angry.
He is a sexist pig. Can he do any satire about any woman without mentioning sex?
Who cares.
Yay, Billy-Boy! We need your sharp little jaundiced eyes on the scene once again.
Missed you. Please get a better yearly schedule with HBO already!
wow you're even pissing off the squares over here on the daily beast! and this is supposed to be a hip audience.. keep it up, bill, we need you now more than ever..
Is this a Repiublican media outlet, or are some of these commenters blogged down by the venomous, contrary, crybaby opposition of the moron minority on the hill?
No dollar left behind? Bill, you're keeping me fit from laughter!
Bill Maher's material often is hilarious, he's intelligent and informed, and his comedic timing is perfect. He's one of the best political and social satirists around today, scathing and courageous.
Great Bill. You're the only guy who can really tell it like it is.
I almost fell out of my chair laughing.
Hey, it could be worse. You could be a rightwinger and have to laugh at Dennis Miller. At least Bill Maher is funny some of the time.
I am still laughing.
Even though Bill is sexist and bashes the South I still like his show.
Blagojevich just what we deserve...now that's funny. Bush robs the treasury and funnels the cash to defense contractors and Big Oil companies and we're worried about Blago...Good call Bill...
Great! He recognizes the silliness of situtations through humor. Some of our politicians are ridiculous.
America, Love it or leave it Banjo1. God that does feel good to say. I see why you Republicans love the phrase so much.
So if someone critisizes women: SEXIST
So if someone critisizes men: YOU GO GIRL!?
(just clarifying)
Bill maher rocks and I disagree with him sometimes but there should have been a hundred of him on the airwaves over the last 8 years. He had to get sent to exile at HBO for having an opinion that didn't fall in line with the post 9/11 nazis.

And another thing: I don't particularly believe in religion too much myself. However, who is going to be more disappointed, a religious fanatic who, upon death, finds out that there is nothing at all and his entire consciousness just fades into eternal blackness, or somebody who spends their entire life lambasting religion then, OOOPS, finds out upon dying that there actually IS a God? I choose to be prudent and just let the religious people do their thing. Bill Maher is an idiot because, if there is any sort of eternal being, he's dedicated himself to talking shit about him.
Thanks to Bill's routine here, I finally understand that Obama is pushing bi-partisanship because he wants equal rights for bi people.
Which is great news, when considered in light of his lack of a firm commitment to gay rights.
I mean, why try to build up any kind of moral authority for criticizing Saudi Arabia's treatment of gays?
At root, it is after all a question of faith. Geithner just said that American's have lost faith in the government's plan to rescue the financial system.
Totally unreligious, I am praying for my 401(K), though doctors say that even with the respirator, it doesn't stand a snowball's chance in a baseball game.
Go, Bill! Love ya!
Marine,
Guckert? That you?Since you're a fan of Ronald Reagan's policies, recommend you confine your readings - both religious and secular - to the social darwinist / flat earth / kill 'em all and let god sort 'em out sites.
The rest of us don't give a rip what fact-defiant Ron/Moron lovers like yourself think about Bill Maher.
Especially when those thoughts seem so focused on the fact that you find him physically unattractive.
I'm laughing just as hard at MarineLtCol above, as I did at Bill's piece.
Fear of eternal damnation is *so* 1950s...
Bill Maher is the best!
Intelligent and irreverent is the way I like my comedians. There is nothing sexier than a curious mind.
Ah, he's a sexist but on everything else, he's right. It confuses me personally as I want to kick him in the nuts and hug him at the same time.
Oh Bill I have missed you
Marian Robinson. President Obama's M.I.L.'s name is Marian Robinson.
He is funny if you ignore seething hatred lurking beneath the dopey exterior.
If ad hominen attacks and a barely literate rehashing of pascal's wager are all you can spew, then you are not part of the "reality based community" and your posting privileges should be revoked.
Thank you.
