Zardoz was not an "unfortunate" choice for Sean Connery!! It's easily one of the most underrated films of all time, and it's probably the best Sean Connery performance ever. It's an indescribable cinematic experience, and if you don't see the genius in it, you're seriously misguided in how you approach artistic merit in modern film. Zardoz!!!!!!
Give me a break! Just because Julia Roberts and Demi Moore were wearing clothes befitting the decade in which they were living, does not mean they were ugly ducklings. Lame.
Even though the intern who probably wrote this little gem of a feature was going for a mixture of puns and topicality (always a winning journalistic choice), isn't titling George Clooney's section "Burn After Seeing", like... way harsh? Especially for some poor kid with a face-paralyzing disease? Yikes.
Did anyone notice Chris Walken in the background of the "Before" Julia Roberts photo?
Yet another bitchy post on TDB. 'Before they were stars' should really be titled 'Before they had press agents'.
Tina Fey losing 30 pounds gave her the necessary 'boost of confidence' to secure the Weekend Update chair? Not really, she already had the confidence to pursue and win success as a writer behind the camera. Try: "She finally met SNL's/Loren's thinness criteria to be on-camera."
When has SNL ever had a non-skinny woman regular? Obese men? No problem.
Never, because obese men = funny while obese women = lower ratings
Thank you.
