The Art of Carla Bruni
Did President Sarkozy bid? A nude photograph of his wife, former model Carla Bruni, was on the block at the spring auction at the Berlin auction house Villa Grisebach Auktionen earlier this week. The French first lady was photographed by Pamela Hanson in 1994. The one of only 10 numbered prints sold to an anonymous bidder for $19,600, four times its estimated price.

She's a fly girl. So what? Look at the type of people that are royalty, leaders (particularly the men - ugh, hope they don't take their clothes off!), sultans and so on. Most of them are pretty smarmy and participate in extra-marital affairs and who knows how involved they are in shady deals and questionable politics, so a few pics of a fab looking woman. I say bid deal.

If I was President Sarkozy I would be a little mad someone is selling pictures of my wife. But at the end of the day if she was waiting for me at home, the rest of the world could, well you know.

Observations
Wondering how long the marriage is going to last? As long as he's President and then a little away time.
She'll move on. Right now she gets to meet everyone in the world and be in the spotlight. She probably wouldn't be with him if he wasn't the President. However, the French love her now.
