The Real World: The Presidents

Is the Obama White House the coolest place on Earth? You might think so after watching NBC’s Inside the Obama White House—and looking at some clips from older versions of the special, one of which features a rather creepy moment of Richard Nixon and his dog.

Michelle Obama? Fabulous. Barbara Bush? Not Really.

She's the magazine cover girl and the woman who looks terrific in her garden or out on the town. Are we talking about Barbara Bush? NBC makes it clear that we’ve definitely moved on.

Obama’s Dog Is Adorable. Nixon’s Is Unpronounceable.

So you can’t blame the media for this one: Obama comes off as endearing and down-to-earth when he’s hanging out with his dog. Nixon’s interaction with King Timahoe is stilted and unbelievable. Yes, even more unbelievable than naming a dog King Timahoe.

Chief of Staff Smackdown: Rahm Emanuel Vs. John H. Sununu

Emanuel, the former ballet dancer and certified badass, has a reputation for kicking butt and taking names. Sununu, lacking a slick beat behind his every move, was an equally tough presidential chief of staff. One is presented as a controlling übernerd, the other as glamorous and strong.

Advancement in technology REALLY does wonders for the filming industry ...

I BET the Daily "Comparative" Beast could NOT have pulled off such an article as this STUPID one when Barbara Bush WAS First lady ...

Don't know why they feel the need to compare almost 2 decades of differing Filming Technology ...

1 TO 10, RATE BRIAN WILLIAMS' CREDIBILITY!

The breathless ass-kissing by Brian Williams is why I have given up on watching NBC news. The "beloved" Barbara becomes a bitch when access is no longer important, and Michelle "the loving mother" will be held in awe until access to her is no longer important to Williams. It seems the first qualification to be hired as a NBC anchor is a nauseating insincerity.

Incidentally, has anyone ever bothered to read Brokaw's book on "The Finest Generation" (or whatever other platitude graces its cover). It barely qualifies as coffee table fare, and it certainly is not "history" or "literature." It proves that with promotion anything can sell.

I guess Jack Welch is the best judge of these things.

Just because you can post videos with comments does not mean that you should.
