Letterman is going nowhere......If little "Thrilla from Wasilla" can't handle the heat she best stay out of the kitchen.

Conservatives can dish it but cant take it...

Letterman's ratings are the highest in late night, get over it!

Pot calling the kettle here...... I have a joke for you.....

Chelsea Clinton wants to follow in the footsteps of her father and go into politics. She realizes she has to start at the bottom, and has been seen on her knees in the offices of some high profile congressmen...and congresswomen.

Wonder if Billy Boy and Hillary would smile and laugh at this joke.....idiot.

Give me a break, Letterman isn't going anywhere. This will be completely forgotten in 2-3 weeks. No one cares about your silly little website.

If Sarah Palin can insight hatred at rallies, but DL can't crack a joke - then we've got this whole thing ass-backwards...

Yeah nothing like joking raping a 14 year old girl in front of her mom at a public venue to show how much compassion and understanding you have.

Blake, I'd ask you to give examples of how "Sarah Palin can insight [SIC] hatred at rallies", but I know you'll not be able to come up with any.

The best you'll be able to produce is the refuted story of a McCain-Palin supporter allegedly yelling "Kill him." Problem is, the Secret Service investigated the incident and decided nothing of the sort happened.

Even if it did, it's a far cry to claim Palin "incited" hatred on the account of a lone nutcase she would have disavowed and condemned (if such a person actually existed).

ynot4tony2 -- You are WAY off base. Palin DID incite racisim and diviseness, which you might not spot if you are one of the "Joe Six Pack" "real Americans" she recruits.
Instead of requiring Blake to come up with examples, you need to go to YouTube and browse through her infamous rally speeches -- or use the Search button on this Web site and find only video clips. She did NOT quell racisim or threats against Obama, as you claim.
McCain once stood up (awkwardly) for Obama when a woman referred to him as an Arab, but Palin never did. That's a part of why she is considered such a divisive wannabe and why many of us are intent on making sure that people like you are informed instead of standing up for "poor" Sarah who gets picked on by MSM.
You can do better if you want a conservative woman on the GOP ticket. Start with someone smart AND ethical and you can't go wrong. She's neither.

The Palin version of the 3 AM phone call - comedians have made fun of your daughter - how do you react?. I can't believe there are people who still consider this woman a suitable candidate for leader of the free world.

ease up. Palin has already accepted Letterman's apology.
Were you this outraged when McCain and Limbaugh were making jokes about Chelsea Clinton?

No, see, what you do is you give Tina Fey producer/writer credit AND have her play Sarah Palin and let Megan Mullaly play Tina Fey. Winona needs to be freed up for a sequel to Heathers.

What is the plot? Will it concentrate on the power-hungry advance of a narcissist or whitewash Palin's "career" as that of the hockey mom who almost became V.P.? The movie will have to wait for her memoir to get that version!

There is no audience for such a movie -- unless it is played for laughs. Get Tina Fey in the lead and create a farce because that's what Palin is the majority of the American public.

I am always amazed at how each side is pointing fingers of character assassination at each other, and then the lemmings come out to attack the other side.

Lets talk about issues, and look at accomplishments.

While you may not like Letterman, he is running a long standing TV show. While you may not like Palin, she is a Governor who turned her state around from a financial crisis.

Words may hurt, but results count.

Lets apply that same logic to Washington DC and see who is addressing the issues, and who is addressing the symtoms.

Dear Daily Beast,
Please stop publishing stories about Sarah Palin. It only helps her. If people would just stop talking about her, she might just end up going away, or at least back to the frozen tundra of Wasilla, Alaska.

Sarah Palin is wannabe sophisticate who will use anything to spew out her conservative values that she obviously couldn't pass on to her children. If she didn't want herself to be the butt of television late night night jokes, she should have stayed in her simple, hockey mom life governing her irrelevant, unpopulated state, keeping a watchful eye on those scary Russians. She opened her children up to targeting by parading them in front of the world during the campaign. She can't expect the world to forget it has a sense of humor because her family is f'd up and her feelings will be hurt. She's an opportunist who is targeting a late night COMEDY show in order to push her political bs, hoping to remain rellevant. That dumb simpleton needs to get over it. BTW she does look like a slutty stewardess, that's why the gop chose her, because that's the kind of thing her perverted, male, gop constituents look for in a candidate.

Megan Mullally is perfect for Sarah Palin: the shrill voice, the self-absorption, the convoluted logic. I'm thinking of Karen on Will and Grace. Why did I not see it before? Thank you, Daily Beast.

Though, Sarah's tanked. Perhaps we won't hear about her in the news any longer. It will take far longer to move past stories about Michael Jackson because, let's face it. Sarah never showed us any good dance steps.
