I almost never read stories about celebrities, and I didn't watch the TV special about Fawcett's disease. But, for some strange reason, the headline about her death reduced me to tears. I guess I thought of the picture of her son. I don't really know. Strange how you can be affected by someone you've never met.

Cancer affects us all; no one is immune to its effects, whether through friends or family suffering. Perhaps this is why Ms. Fawcett's death is so affecting. I was sorry to see there was not a video clip from her more serious work; she was wonderful in "Small Sacrifices" and even better in "Jewel", a made for TV movie where she played the mother of a child with Down's "Syndrome. It was about letting go of the people you love. Watch it if you can. Sympathies to Ms. Fawcett's family on her passing.

Those commercials sure are blasts from the past. As soon as it started, I could do the Ultra Brite commercial. Weird what you remember from childhood!

Sure, Fawcett was another beautiful woman. However, I couldn't get my eyes off Jaclyn Smith.

Farah will always be remembered, she has been a good actress during her time. Ok, we've all heard some disgusting celebrity gossip, but hearing that Ryan O'Neil hit on Tatum at Farah's funeral is about at the top of the list. To explain - Tatum is Tatum O'Neil, the daughter of Ryan O'Neil, who was trying to score at his late partner's funeral, after Farah Fawcett had passed away from a long battle with cancer. He claimed that he didn't recognize her, as the two had been estranged for some time. For someone to not recognize their own offspring is incredulous, to be cruising your partner's funeral is something else. It's going to take more than a cash advance and an apology to repair his credit after Ryan O'Neil hit on Tatum at Farrah's funeral.
