But, at least they can write a coherent sentence.

It certainly indicates that admission to Brown (or, for that matter, it seems, any Ivy) has very little to do with academics. It's like affirmative action for the rich and wealthy--and, unlike "real" affirmative action, it actually does diminish the value of admission for those who got in on their own merits. Somewhere in Kansas or Utah or Oregon, a more deserving student was refused admission to Brown so that Ms. Watson could "read literature."

Good. So she will keep her clothes on for awhile. At least for 4 years before going back to the big screen.

you missed: Dustin Hoffman's daughter Alexandra, both of Chris Berman's (ESPN) kids, Doug and Meredith, and Eli Marienthal
quahogger
Among other kids at Brown -- and confining ourselves to show-biz and politics alone -- your list left out the children of Dustin Hoffman (2 kids there), President Jimmy Carter, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Costner, Bobby Kennedy (3 kids), Sigourney Weaver, Jane Pauley and Gary Trudeau (2 kids), Chris Matthews, Marlon Brando (adopted daughter), Jane Fonda, Diana Ross, Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman's OTHER daughter (Gracie), Liv Ullman, Max Von Sydow, Sir Richard Burton, Rick Moranis, Presidential candidates Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis, and candidate-aspirants Steve Forbes, Paul Tsongas, Lamar Alexander, and Alan Keyes; not to mention innumerable movie studio and TV network honchos, directors, writers, and assorted Academy Award winners.
Notwithstanding the Brown-Hollywood "mafia", the remarks of "Meichx" above are typical internet ignorance.
Admission to Brown and the other Ivies has EVERYTHING to do with academics, as the SAT 2400-scorers and valedictorians who go there will attest. I have known half a dozen of the kids listed above and they were, I daresay, smarter than "Meichx". In fact, let "Meichx" submit his academic transcript to ANY Ivy and see if he can get in. When he's rejected, it'll be because of his deficient academics, not because of his obscurity.
Thank you.
