Since the November 27 car accident that demolished his SUV, and seemingly wrecked his marriage and career, Tiger Woods has been a ghost. Aside from a short online announcement declaring his hiatus from golf, the Athlete of the Decade hasn’t said a word or been seen in public in several weeks. Although his wife Elin spent her holiday in a chalet in the French Alps, Tiger’s actual whereabouts remain unknown—prompting the usual mix of sometimes absurd and mostly unfounded speculation. The earliest alleged Tiger sighting of 2010 occurred at New York’s Trump Hotel, when rumors swirled that he overtook an entire floor for a New Year’s Day respite, complete with 20 bottles of vodka and 15 cases of Red Bull. Depending on whom you believe, he’s either living as a hermit—partaking in solo nighttime golfing trips—or surrounding himself with friends. Or businesspeople. Or mistress No. 1, Rachel Uchitel. The most plausible of the rumors have him holed up in North Palm Beach, Florida, or setting sail to the Bahamas on Privacy, his 155-foot paparazzi-proof yacht.

I did not intend to add more legs to this story but I thank you for mentioning the fact you have a daughter and that behavior like his is contemptable (I'm not saying he is, but the behavior--definitely) if you think about it happening in your own family. Tiger Woods has a daughter, too, I understand, and I can't help but wonder how this man would feel 20 years down the pike if she married someone like her father, who cheats on her and makes a public spectacle of himself. For the life of me, this is what cracks me up about men who are serial cheaters

Aren't all the women involved in this scandal someone's daughters? And these women are a pretty gamey lot, I'd say. There's no lack of people in this story who are impulsive and stupid, and the vast majority of them are women. Even worse, they seem to view sleeping with men as some sort of accomplishment. I'd be far more worried about a child who thought that sleeping with someone (probably many someones) might get you a few minutes of fame, but maybe that's just me.
And I don't care where Tiger Woods is; he drove himself into this parking lot. He can drive himself out.

Please...serve the junk to someone else. None of these women were impulsive or stupid (that's a qualified stupid). They went into this with dollar signs in their dreams. These women are predators. By that I mean if there is a woman alive who doesn't know how truly stupid men are about sex...I don't know where she could be. Rich men are even dumber because they normally live in a protected bubble, where someone takes care of them. Look at Bill Clinton, Elliott Spitzer, the Luv Guv of Virginia...all smart men, whose brains left them when it came to having sex outside their marriage.

Soooo...Tiger twisted the arms of all these young white women and made them have sex with them. None of them had a choice....and they all leaped to the media once this was leaked...but heck, I never heard one of them say she was forced to do anything. Granite...don't be so obviously silly. What this proves is that when you are a child, even the behavior in your parents you hate...can become your behavior as an adult. Tiger's high school girlfriend said that when they were together he used to call her so upset and crying because his father was being unfaithful. Yet as a man, he has done the same thing. Studies have shown over and over, whether alcoholism, domestic abuse or infidelity, if is not unusual for the children of parents who do these things to also do them in adulthood. I suspect the pressure of being this person who was trained to achieve with perhaps not a full social life as a kid always on the golf course and of course his father's behavior made Tiger prone to this sort of thing. But let's also not forget any of those women could have said no at any time. He and other wealthy men have a plethora of easy women throwing themselves at these guys...

Sorry Coffeebean, but your hyperbole sucks...Tiger has done lots of things right...his disloyalty to his wife and kids will ever be his shame because of the skanky women he did it with and how quickly they sold him out to the media or demanded he pay them big bucks to shut up. I am not sure he will marry again if this one breaks up and he won't have to worry about infidelity. I am sure he's glad his father's not around to see the loss of public admiration, but because his father was also involved with infidelity and purportedly tiger hated it (if his high school sweetheart can be believed) then his father couldn't say much about that. Tiger has a fabulous foundation that helps at risk kids and he has raised millions for other charities. So lets not go overboard he did a hugely stupid thing and it's been given as much Press as when it happened to Bill Clinton, the President. Yet he is a private citizen and a public athlete...
