At least 39 people have been killed and dozens injured after bombs tore through three Nigerian churches during Christmas services. Another bomb targeted a state security building. Burned bodies and cars reportedly littered the street after the attack. A radical Muslim sect claimed responsibility for the attack, as well as another bombing in the city of Jos, a city on the border between Nigeria's Christian south and Muslim north. The sect, known as Boko Haram, which wants to institute Sharia law in Nigeria, is responsible for almost 500 deaths this year, according to the Associated Press. Last year, Christmas Eve bombings in Jos killed dozens.
