Book: Beatty Slept with 13K Women

A new biography of Warren Beatty says that the movie star slept with nearly as many women as Wilt Chamberlain, but unlike Wilt—who penned his famous 20,000-women claim himself—Beatty says it isn’t true. According to Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America, the film star bedded almost 13,000 women—a figure reached “using simple arithmetic,” says author Peter Biskind. Beatty’s attorney said, however, that "Mr. Biskind's tedious and boring book on Mr. Beatty was not authorized by Mr. Beatty and should not be published as an authorized biography. It contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said.”
