Cameron Appears on Letterman

British Prime Minister David Cameron took a move out of the U.S. playbooks by appearing on David Letterman—although he probably should have studied up on his British history first. The late-night host welcomed Cameron by having the band play “Rule Britannia,” although things only went downhill from there for Cameron: Cameron guessed the composer wrong and then during a quiz by Letterman, Cameron guessed correctly that the Magna Carta had been signed in 1215 but he didn’t know it translated to “Good Charter” in English. “I’ve ended my career on your show tonight,” Cameron joked. In New York for the United Nations General Assembly, Cameron joked about U.S.-Britain relations, although he said he finds the lack of gun control “difficult.”
