Cathy and Oscar Make Nice: Cathy Horyn and Oscar de la Renta have reportedly buried the hatchet. Only a few months ago, the designer and New York Times fashion critic waged a war of words in the international press, with everyone from Hedi Slimane to Lady Gaga chiming in their perspectives on the matter. But backstage at de la Renta’s Pre-Fall fashion show in New York last night, the two were spotted having an amicable conversation. “She came to see me before the show and I told her we probably approach fashion in two different ways. I respect her way and I hope she respects my way,” de la Renta told WWD, “I read every single article she writes on fashion. I never hold grudges.” [WWD]

Jennifer Lopez showed up in Australia sporting some light wash leather leggings, with bizarre stains around the crotch area, as if she had sat down to a messy lunch without using a napkin. Word to the wise: when white leather comes a’calling, 10 napkins are in order. [HuffPo Style]
