Afghanistan to World: Back Off
Afghanistan's foreign ministry has accused the United Nations of illegally meddling in the country's internal affairs by suggested that the newly reelected Hamid Karzai should appoint ministers who will ease the country's corruption. The Afghan government issued a sharp statement saying that the U.N.'s stated wishes "have violated respect for Afghanistan's national sovereignty." The statement also seemed to be pointed at British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and President Barack Obama, both of whom have been outspoken in recent days about the problem of corruption in Afghanistan.

Could you imagine what the US would say if the UN told the American government they should appoint czars to ease the country's corruption?
If its the truth, yeah you can be pissed, but it doesn't diminish the veracity of the statement.
The U.S. has stuck it's nose in everybody's business but our own since we landed here and will continue to do so, at the expense of American lives.
The truth is we have no business in the middle east, it's just the continuing U.S. Policy of Manifest Destiny, with our Nobel peace winner at the helm.

The corrupt Karzai is dependent upon the UK & the USA to fight the Taliban & Al-Qaeda. He also needs UN aide. Without, the Taliban will again take over Afghanistan & you can be sure the corrupt Karzai & his cronies will be put to death. Just another case of the corrupt biting the hands of those who feed & defend them. I say pull our troops out & tell Karzai to kiss his sorry ass goodbye.
As in Iraq if the Americans get out of Afghanistan dreadful things will happen.
Iraq will be taken over by Iraqis.
Afghanistan will be taken over by the Afghanistan People.
