Amtrak Crash Kills 5
Another deadly day for travel: An Amtrak train near Detroit crashed into a car today, killing all five people in the car. The crash occurred at 12:30 p.m. in Canton Township, which is about 20 miles west of Detroit. No one on the train was injured. The ages and names of the deceased are currently unknown.

Just another reason we need the stimulus money that Barrack "Bush" Obama is either putting in his pocket or putting it in his cronies pockets. People like: Bankers, GM, Wall Street pukes, T.Boone Pickens, and his ilk. If you make less than $250k per year, you are getting screwed! They want to raise the sales tax on pop or gas. Our sales tax in my town is over 10% already. But there again, Oklahoma is the home of Inhoff and Coburn! Sales taxes come primarily from the poor, hurts them the worse. That's Barrack "Bush" Obama.

Maybe you should read this article on the driver of the car before blaming the train crew.
charles116- Odds are the train would not have been able to stop anyway. The report did not sound as though the vehicle was stalled. Were you suggesting that the engineer was the conductor's girlfriend? It is really easy to blame the conductor as he may have been collecting tickets or doing what you suggested. I would be interested to know if the driver was on their cell phone when the accident occurred.
