Army to Palin: Zip It

Perhaps she’ll go rogue and speak anyway? The Army has asked Sarah Palin to not make a speech, pose for photos, or personalize the notes in books she signs when her Going Rogue book tour stops by Fort Bragg on Monday. The Army is worried that she would grandstand against President Obama. A spokesman from Fort Bragg told local news that so far sales of Palin’s book have been weak.

Slant, you've obviously never been in our armed forces. No matter one's personal political opinion, it has no bearing on your duty. Sarah's not smart enough to know this either;-(

Titless, assless, gutless, and as she ages, moosefaced anti-semite. The Wasilla wag speaks ill of us as a melting pot nation.

Reasonable, Alan, didn't you read Plant's comment above? Because of our political affiliation we're supposed to be hating Sarah Palin, not defending her from shrill, classless personal attacks. FOX News style politics doesn't work if you don't treat the other side as the bad guys. You guys are ruining it!

All she does it string right wing talking points together as a semi sentence. There is a lot of hate and frustration in this country that she and the other "your problems are because of someone else" talking heads feed it to make money.

I have served under some of the finest leaders this country has ever produced. Mrs. Palin couldn't shine the shoes of those leaders. Leader like, LTG Claudia Kennedy, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence. Now she is a leader...

I just googled your girl, big time supporter of Obama. Palin wouldn't shine their shoes anyway but they will salute her if she runs and wins.

|

Yeah, just like they salute Obama now and whoever the president is, no matter which party. They're the military, you bozo, that's what they do. They don't play stupid partisan games. They serve our country, not just the half of it who agrees with them.

Make my day!!!!!!!!!
Anyone care to bet Palin pulls one of her famous "No Shows"???

Here is a much better detailed article, with a broader perspective of Palin's pseudo book tour to "real America"...ooops she never attended US history classes to learn "Real Americans" live in all 50 states and the cities within......

Sarah Palin's book tour came through my city the other day and I scooted over to the mall, looking to get an autograph and a handshake.

Any venue that represents the Government would not have a talking head speak that is associated with hate groups. That's a no-brainer. The military is a diverse non-political organization. The Commander-in Chief is the president. After Sarah makes her millions, she will be happy. She couldn't wait until her governor term expired. Soon she will ride off into the sunset with every $24.00 you paid for 413 pages of gossip. She may not be smart, but she sure is slick.

Then your ocomments would explain how Palin was able to launch an attack on Sen. John Kerry, a military vet, during her 08 cheerleading seesion on a military base -- to members of the military about to engage in battle in Afghanistan and Iraq????? No one at that base told her "Put a sock in it" or demanded an apology from her for inappropriate conduct on a military facility.

Hats off to the officers of Fort Bragg who put the well being of soldiers over the economic profits of Palin and Harper Colllins!

That I think is a good description. I think she is possibly winding people up, like a person would who is possibly an evangelistic tv star, possibly similar to the ending speech that Bush gave, when he landed in Texas, reminded me of that tone. I don't think that tone is good on a base, especially when it is war time, the divisive tone is not good for the military. Look at Fort Hood. And isolated person like that can possibly get more wound up, than a well adjusted one.

It would be typical for christer nut-job Sarah Palin

to use the US military morons as a "photo-op."

And it would be typical for the US military morons

to have a "tea party" uprising in an open revolt

against an African-American President.

christer nut-job Sarah Palin hates blacks as much as she hates jews.

It is well documented that she scours much more obscure blogs than this to read what people are thinking of her. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. Maybe she can have her lawyer send off some more letters than threaten people exercising their First Amendment rights with lawsuits.
