Isn't life grand that the left is beyond bigotry based on religion? Leftists didn't set fire to the church out of bigotry, it was a fire of peace, love and tolerance. It wasn't a hatefilled arsonist attack it was a peacenik filled arsonist attack. It is only a hatefilled attack if the church was actually a majority black church so it was a peacenik filled message to the evil klansmen and women that congregate in churches like that.

Isn't it grand that the left is so tolerant? Yes, it's grand, let's all be progressive now and tolerate everything but christians who happen to be white. YES, let's be tolerant of everything but.

Geez BigMouth. I think you "two cents" are worth less than that. I'm a "leftist" and I think arson is appalling, for any reason. It's awful that someone did that. I know because the Unitarian Church where I grew up was burned by "rightists" who were angry that the church was providing political sanctuary to El Salvadorians who were escaping their civil war funded by the U.S.

Also, by your logic I might as well blame you for the murder of doctors outside abortion clinics, the temples that get burned by ultra-right Nazis and the killing of Mathew Shepard. Right? Isn't that the logic?

Dear Big Mouth: The political motivations (if any) of the arsonist are not known, and sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

a. arsonitsts don't need political reasons.
b. resentful conservative separatist arsonists might make a good suspect.
c. i'm reading a book about catholic torture and murder of the blaspheming protestants settling the new world in florida.
d. empathy ca"n't be one way only. ayou're using tolerance" as a hollow insult. you probably don't practice it yourself.
