Calif. Rep. Waxman Hospitalized
Did last week's climate change negotiations drive Democratic congressman Henry Waxman to exhaustion? After feeling ill on Tuesday, the Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee fainted in his D.C. office. He was later admitted to the hospital in his home state of California, for routine testing. The episode came fresh on the heels of last week's historic climate change legislation, which Waxman, 69, steered through a close vote in the House. He remained in the hospital on Wednesday, but he is feeling better and "is in good spirits," his office said.

That man has been working overtime on tedious-languaged bills and he's nt a spring chicken. Rest up and get well.
Rest up, Chairman Waxman -- we NEED you.
This guy is all integrity all the time. A hero.
Hopefully he can get his head examined while he's there. Enjoy the MRI machine while there's still no 6 month wait for it. Do us a favor Mr. Rat Face: stay in the hospital and quit trying to screw poor people with your cap and tax plans.
You really have no idea what you're talking about.
He did write the cap and trade policy, which will any and everyone who uses energy.
I wish mr. Waxman well.
Squigg, the problems is not that he wrote the cap & tax bill, it is that NOBODY READ IT!
If he wrote it he knows it and gets the last laugh! I was just hoping him well and not his last laugh!
You know, even with cap and trade... a person can have the best intentions. No person would try and screw their own nation. Many of us feel we have to get this nation off of it's addiction to foreign energy.
Get better Mr. Waxman. Best Wishes...
That was completely and utterly persuasive. Excuse me while I drown myself.
"NOW" thats how you work hard for country and the people.I hope the rest of congress learns something from Mr.Waxman.And man he did'nt have to wait for a referal from his CPR doctor cause what the conservative doctors are fighting is already here. With THE REFERAL SYSTEM they created people have died waiting for the referal to clear .anyways I am glad he is getting better "NOW GET BACK WORK"
There's a Doctor of CPR?
You learn something new everyday...
A result of the environmental mental bubble he lives in surely. Did he travel to the hospital on pedal power? Is that hospital solar powered or just some more congressional bullsh*t wind blowing through. God I love my 6-pack laden 350 V8 which roars like a lion. (As opposed to the electrical purring of a pussy cat)
It's unfortunate that policy wonks like Waxman don't enjoy the finer things in life! LOL If you V8 has a carb I'd be really impressed but I am happy there is still a man left with his machine! Many of us had to give those up for tuiton, mortgages and retirement!
You guys are terrible... lol Give the guy a break... lol
Just like a politician to create junk legislation and then "check-out" before he/she can be held accountable. Has anyone here seen the Cap & Trade Bill on Mr. O's supposed website for such things? Nope. But, what I have seen of the Bill through various websites scares the tar out of me.
Bill O isn't an elected official. Waxman is. And Waxman's bill is going to screw up the country. People can turn off Bill O. They can't turn off Waxman's craptastic laws.
That's Mr. Obama not Mr. Bill O'Reilly.
Waxman fainted because he had his thermostat set at 80.
If the temp goes up much more we will all only be carbon footprints, period! Wonder how much that will cost us?
When will Waxman and the other 534 members of Congress begin to honors decades of promises to Veterans????
109th and 110th Congress did absolutely nothing for our heroes, 111th put up 100 bills 80% are stuck in committee till 12/31/09 then they all die!
So when members of Congress beging to honor decade old promises I wish them all dead or voted out of office!
They do nothing more than line their own pockets!
