Debbie Rowe: 'I Want My Children'

Does this mean Diana Ross will not be the future mother of Michael Jackson’s children? In an interview with NBC Los Angeles, Debbie Rowe said “I want my children” and that she would submit to any testing to prove she’s the true mother of the two children she birthed to Michael Jackson. One sign that she’s fit for mothering: She said she’d seek a restraining order to keep Jackson’s father, Joe, away from the children. Rowe surrendered her parental rights when she divorced Jackson in 1999. Ross, meanwhile, was named the backup guardian to Jackson’s mother in his will.

You did and all she really wants? Is MORE money. How sad for those kids I hope a judge does the right thing and states the facts. SHE was paid for them TWICE already.

Oh, like the Marines killed in Afghanistan? Or like the car sales slipping and high unemployment?
Not me. I already know that stuff. Let's talk Michael's secret life.

As for Debbie, don't think it's all about money. She wants to keep those kids away from Papa Joe, who will surely try to use them for money and prestige. "Little Michael" Jacksons.
If there was a more dysfunctional family, I don't know where it is. Those kids would be royally screwed if they go live with Katherine and her many divorced children and their mistresses.

This current news cycle is so remarkably lack luster and trivial.....this can only mean one thing, some ungodly deluge of raging bull shit is on the brink of unleashing its mind numbing havoc on the sheltered populous that is the American citizenship

side bar - the Rollingstone article by Matt Taibbi is pretty good.

Oh this is just only the beginning to a very very long and drawn out affair of events to come.

Everyone just wants to put their hands in the cookie jar, nothing more, nothing less.

Where was Rowe last week challenging custodial rights which by the way she signed away?

Get a clue, just like Joe Jackson, their only interests are who gets the money and control of the estate!

Now lets move on to more important issues, MJ is dead, who cares!

What about Veterans, those who fight for our country and are treated far worse than illegal immigrants who entered into the USA illegally, without papers and who get every free benefit known to US Citizens which WE can't get!?!?!?!?!?

The people who are really "getting over" are the ones who were smart enough to take out insurance on him.

Look, It was MJ that didn't want her or any other woman involved raising the children. If the DNA proves she is the mother than I say she should get them. MJ mother is elder and she couldn't protect MJ and his siblings from the abuse of the father. I don't blame Ms Rowe making sure that the grandfather is no where near the children unless supervised. I feel his father is a loser. He was abuse to his wife and children. He needs to go back to Vagas. Ms Rowe I understand has a ranch and it would be nice for the children to live away from the spotlight. I would think it would be good for both Ms Rowe and the grandmother to team up for the childrens sack. The lawyers could make sure that the kids will get everything and neither grandparents or Ms Rowe can touch the money. I fear Joe Jackson only is interest in MJ money and really could care less about the kids because he certainly does care about his own kids.

I don't like the idea of her having the kids. She only wants her two but what about the fact that she would be splitting them up from their little brother. How much damage should they have to go through?

It should be all or nothing with those kids, keep them together and if Rowe can't do that then she should be out of contention. Diana Ross is no spring chicken either and she has her problems but I think she could come closer to helping them make a transition from way weird upbringing to just plain old celebrity upbringing. Those kids are going to have problems. Keep them together. Don't create another problem!

Curious: Why didn't Michael name his oldest sister Rebbie as custodian? She is scandal free and has a 30 year marriage.

The law says she is biological and therefore parental rights can't be terminated, period.

I totally agree. Would anyone on this board want their children to be in that position; near the grandfather and the dysfunctional brothers?

I don't think Mrs.Ross would'nt like to keep the children from there real mother. What if the shoe was on other foot she would fight to get her kids back too.And as far as Joe he was already thinking of another jaskson5 with the grand kids. Its dollar bill signs in his eye's lets hope the mother Debbie gets the kids she will not expolit them.Either way may God be with in this time greif..........!

Jackson's poor kids!
No doubt their father was hunted and hounded all his life for his fame, and his money. Such may have contributed to an obviously ill mind.
And now the kids are going to be hunted and hounded for their fame and their money.
And Joe Jackson is still in the picture.
Poor, poor kids.

Why hasn't any one talked about Michael being a unic? It's evident with his high voice, minimal facial hair, and the inability to truly father a child. Poor soul. Of course it's okay and the most wonderful thing to share your bed... if nothing has the possibility to happen! This is a tragic 'secret' that needs to be heard so that we all can understand the Man. Think about it. It makes perfect sense. Neverland. Think about it, and honor him for his suffering, and amazing talent. Oh yeah, and nix the father. He's a pig.

Give the kids to the real mother.
She "gave up her rights" to the kids so they'd be incredibly advantaged, I think.

Deborah Rowe could win or at least make a very good argument publicly. Here's why: On record, Michael Jackson stated that Joe Jackson (his father) physically abused all his sons, repeatedly. Katharine Jackson (his mother) witnessed this and failed to protect her children against the chronic abuse. This is an attempt to rescue Michael Jackson's children from an unsafe environment, assuming that Katharine Jackson has not changed. This explains something the press is failing to focus on: the order of protection against Joe Jackson which is filed in parallel. Debbie Rowe may not win, but she will open up this issue--as she should. I hope she is successful. Unless Mrs. Jackson was herself physically beat, there is no defense for her passive behavior regarding the physical abuse of her children. Joe Jackson's cruelty was the bane of Michael Jackson's existance.
