Dobbs Mulling White House, Senate Run
A day after Sarah Palin said she’d consider Glenn Beck as a running mate if she runs for president in 2012, Lou Dobbs tells Reuters “I am ruling nothing out” when asked if he would consider running for Senate in his home state of New Jersey or for president in 2012. “I have come to no conclusions and no decisions. Do I seek to have some influence on public policy? Absolutely. Do I seek to represent and champion the middle class in this country and those who aspire to it? Absolutely. And I will.”

Since Dobbs worked at CNN, chances are that he is a democrat. My guess is he's planning to run against Obama in the 2012 democratic primaries-----and that would be a heck of a lot of fun to watch!

If Dobbs is an independent then he could switch to democrat and run against Obama in the democratic primary. Given how incompetent Obama has already proven himself to be, there may well be a couple of challengers for Obama in the democratic party primaries.

My bad. Menendez is up in 2012, Lautenberg is 2014. He's 87 right now, that will make him 92 in 2014. There may be an election before 2012 for Senate in NJ (no ill wishes).

Good Lord? I have watched Lou Dobbs for years on CNN. Whoever thinks he is a Democrats must be feasting on catnip. I wrote to CNN several times complaining about Lou's ultra right-wing agenda. He said so many negative things about Obama well before the election that I wrote and told him Obama would be his president. I long believe Lou ought to have been on FOX.
He is Republican as far as I am concerned. Don't count Lou out. A good word from Rush Limbaugh and he is in.

This is news, not. It's the usual Lou Dobbs frog fratulence & fish feces. To paraphrase Dobbbs, don't rule out any hate mongering tactic to further polarize Americans by Dobbs & his ilk. Lou will appear at anything from a letter opening to a race riot till he becomes an ir-relavant, obscure, non-entity.

Lou Dobbs has his soldiers ready for a 2012 run,for 30 years everyday people would write in saying they have switched to independent because of Lou and show after show Lou gathered them up, its going to be a battle in 2012.........! independents would follow Lou over Sarah Bush and the third party conservatives ...........! watch out here comes Lou Dobbs and his independent soldiers
