Actress Farrah Fawcett Dies at 62
Farrah Fawcett, the famed actress, passed away at 62 after a lengthy and public battle with cancer at 9:30 am on Thursday, June 25. Fawcett was in a Los Angeles hospital. Most famous for her role in Charlie’s Angels, Fawcett achieved icon status with a famous poster of her in a red bathing suit and feathered bombshell-blonde hair. After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away," Ryan O'Neal, a longtime companion of Fawcett's said. "Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world."

Very sad. She was a true American beauty and a wonderful actress. My prayers go to her familly and friends. My favorite role of Farrah's was in Extremities. It showed her true acting chops!
OMG! Me too! I thought I was the only one who saw that movie! A very powerful film, she was brilliant in that role. She will definately be missed.

Interesting memory.
In the mid 1970's we at Benton & Bowles created an ad campaign for Continental Airlines, the theme of which was "We Really Move Our Tail fo You." In one of our first commercials,,, Farah Fawcett played a young flight attendant,who flipped off her shoes in exhaustion and the voice over intoned, "She Really Moved Her Tail for You.'
Isn't it ironic that this beautiful woman would die of anal canceer.

you know, that memory of yours is kind of sick. no, it's not "ironic" that fawcett died of anal cancer. it's sad. but she at least gave us information near the closing of her life about this little known, little talked about cancer, and hopefully, others will benefit from it.

you know whatever. she was a really cool person and added alot to our culture.
Ryan O'Neal kept saying 'we need to brace ourselves"; I wasn't braced! This hit me hard. Knowing she wouldn't make it and praying for a miracle anyway! It breaks my heart that she lost this battle and her love story with Ryan was a wonderful tribute that no matter what, love perseveres against all odds. I'm sad for everyone who loved her. I sure did.I had Farrah hair at one time myself and it was pretty. To a real angel...you will never feel pain in God's world which is absolutely where you are. I am a Christian and I am sure I will see her again. Sweet lady~~~not to be forgotten.
Does it get any better? Intelligence, Blessed with Talent, Exuded Class and she will always be remembered as one of the Classic, Naturally Beautiful Women. She rests in Jesus's arms and I pray a Covering from God for the Loved Ones she left.

I had a dream last night that Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett got married in heaven.
