Inmates Want to Beat Up Madoff

Bernard Madoff

Welcome, Bernie, to the clinker: The New York Post reports that a few of Bernard Madoff's fellow inmates are talking about beating him up to bolster their jailhouse cred. But not everyone on the inside hates him. Other inmates respect and even admire Madoff because "[he] didn't tell on anybody, he didn't take everybody down with him," according to an unnamed source with a relative in the same North Carolina federal prison. Madoff swindled more than 1,000 people out of $65 billion in a Ponzi scheme lasting two decades.

You are onto something. I am getting a bit bored with TDB - not as much meat on the bones as when they started out. I think I'll quit and I am probably not the only one. Such ridiculous crap. If I want fake news I'll watch comedy central

**"he didn't take anybody down with him"**

Yes, the 8,000 defrauded Madoff investors are the nobodies prison convicts choose to ignore. This is the reason these idiots are in the slammer to begin with.

Here's hoping Bernie soon finds a protective, brawny "husband" to keep him impregnable and cuddly in his new abode.

If Obama is deluded enough to think he can lead the country, why not Palin? GWB set the bar so low you could run your finger down the white pages and find someone better.

I am definitely pro-law and order and pro-building lots of prisons and few paroles, but I don't like the fact that prison life is so unsafe. I don't like that the American public likes it that way. Prison terms should be served to their completion with rare exception but that time should be spent in safety. Prison rapes and violence need to be reduced significantly.

He should never have been put in prison. He should been HUNG. This my friends is from a staunch free market, anti regulation believer. I believe he is a traitor to the political/economic system that has made this nation the success that it is. His kind of fraud rises to the level of treason. It causes damage to the foundations of the free market.Hand Em HIGH

He committed a crime involving other people's money. He has lost the good life he had and is behind bars. His sentence does not include beatings and rape.

Maybe he will write a book abourt how he fell into the scheme - and how he was able to carry it on for so long.

It would be handy to see the list of congress people he donated money to, and how much money, and for how many years. Are the investigative reporters and their editors asleep at the wheel?

Lev says as publisher of "New World Hors D'oeuvres" he may be allowed to send Bernie a copy, and he considers to do just that. Hers is your free copy.

Manson and othe monsters were safe in prison. Bernie will also be safe. Blood thirsty inmates will behave if prison guards give him protection.

A thousand people got defrauded of 65 billion, wow, what a shame. That's a huge hole in democrat fund raising. He'll be protected, most in prison are democrat voters.

Prisons would have special wings for Democratic Party fund-raisers, except they keep getting pardoned.

Bernie will be abel to scam in prison by using candy bars and chips from the prison store to get whatever he wants.I just saw a show on prisons. Store items become like money on the outside. They trade chips for protection ,candy bars for tools to get whatever they want, imagine the scam.

Prison guards run the jails. Inmates follow orders. Bernie will be safe as long as he also follows orders.

Madoff did his dirt and now he's in the slammer.....who cares what happens to him; he's a slime and whatever does or does not happen will be what he deserves. Now, let's go after the rest of his organization.

He is guilty of everything and even if everyone wishes him dead it is not right to allow anyone to beat him up.Or hurt him,his punishment is to spend his 150 years in jail.If we are going to allow people to be beaten up ,and hurt in jail, then stick a needle, and put them to sleep. What are we animals,It is the responsibility of the guards, warden the judge and jury who sentenced him.,to say he stays safe. They sentenced him to jail, and this is more important than republicans, left, right etc.

also,I remember seeing newspeople pushing him,no one should put a finger on anyone except if the jury says it.We are human beings, punish with the law.We have alot of politicians, and bankers, and wallstreeters, that should be with him.and ceo",s,they have abused their power with their greed and left people broke.I can understand someone going crazy and shooting him because they lost everythign, but to send him to jail to be beaten up is wrong.

We are worried about the terrorist having been tortured,so we cannot allow anyone in the jails to be abused.
