Iowa GOP Recruits Palin
Sarah Palin may have abandoned her post as governor of Alaska, but the Republican Party has not abandoned her. Republican officials in Iowa are "aggressively pursuing" Palin to be the headline speaker at a major fundraising dinner in the state, which is the first stop in the long presidential campaign trail. It is common for presidential hopefuls to attend the event; Palin's attendance would undoubtedly fuel speculation about her own ambitions in 2012. One prominent Iowa Republican described her as "the most sought-after personality" in the party. She is sought-after by the media, too: the Des Moines Register reports that Palin's spokeswoman's voicemail was full and not accepting new messages.

A former chief of the Neetsaii Gwich'in tribe having spent time living in Arizona is interested in sharing some Mexican Party Customs. Sarah was being invited as the piñata. The idea was dismissed by tribal elders as there was concern for the children being exposed to Sarah's stuffing.

Further evidence that the GOP has severe myopia, when it concerns identifying the turds floating in their sinister soup. Here she is, Miss Alaska in the headlines again! Not because of anything we on the Left did or said, but because she just can't go one day without getting herself in the news--not a single day. We would be happy to ignore her totally, but she doesn't like to be ignored.

No he wasn't. He went on-air the next day and said that all unreturnable money would be donated to charity. When parent's complaints increased, he was suspended for two weeks.

This is great news for democrats. As long as they stay with Palin and don't search for an experienced, intelligent, dignified republican. President Obama will remain president through 2016.

Palin is about to learn how hard it is to set foot in the Lower 48. The Iowa GOP may love her (vs. the individual Repugs running in 2010 who are asking her not to help), but journalists will be all over her decision to quit. Palin will find out how hard it is to keep the "magical thinking" cloak safely around her in environments where she can't grab a gun, a salmon or a grizzly.
This is a woman who calls a press conference in outrage over attacks on Trig--apparently, she was talking about some recycled joke posted on some obscure website. During the election it was all McCain could do to keep her from blabbing about her husband's association with the AK Independence Party, by pointing out multiple times that complaining would draw 100X more attention to something that wasnt really an issue. And she wants more attention from the national press? Is she more narcissistic or more paranoid? Or just more tiresome.
