Marv Albert Scuffles with 50 Cent's Posse
Longtime sportscaster and lead basketball play-by-play announcer for TNT Marv Albert was "rejected" by 50 Cent and his entourage on Thursday night when the rapper's protective posse failed to recognize the anchor. It's unclear what exactly started the skirmish between Albert—who arrived to be a guest on the show with his own, one-member entourage of TNT publicist Jeff Pomeroy—and the rapper's retinue, but a scrap seemed to revolve around the inability of 50's bodyguards to identify the toupee-wearing presenter, despite the helpful admonishment of a Kimmel security team member, who yelled, "it's Marv Albert!" Luckily, the broadcaster emerged unscathed, though confused: "I thought they were kidding, but then I realized they weren't."
