McNair Killed By Girlfriend

Nashville police have confirmed that former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair was killed in a murder-suicide by his girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, who had been driven to desperation by mounting debts and McNair's interest in other women. The police said that McNair was asleep when he was shot by Kazemi, a 20-year-old who worked at Dave and Busters restaurant. McNair was married and Kazemi was convinced he was going to leave her, but a friend said McNair's wife didn't know about Kazemi. On the football field, McNair was known for his remarkable toughness and performance in the clutch.

Karma gets a gun.
Still waiting to hear the same liberal outcry against adultery that we hear when a Sanford or Ensign pops up in the news...funny how those morals are turned on and off for convenience.

Are you retarded? Since when was being against adultery a uniquely liberal standpoint?Have you forgotten all about right-wing politicians (including Sanford and Larry Craig) making a federal case on Clinton for getting a BJ? If anything, bible-humping Christians ("the base") should be the one's crying out against adultery.

And what do political leanings have to do with Air McNair's murder anyway?

Man, some people just can't resist talking irrelevant bullshit, I suggest you keep your mouth shut if all you have to say about an athlete's murder is some bullshit about the other end of the political spectrum.

No, in this case I think "retarded" is perfectly accurate.

Did you seriously just call him 'retarded'? And YOU are trying to judge someone's opinion? I understand that you were trying to show your intellegance with your reply, however all you did is show how ignorant you really are. And 'bible-humping Christians'? What kind of monster are you? Nope... scratch that... i really don't want to know your kind

It's hardly the same, and you must be very callous not to see that murder -- no matter the motive -- is unjust.

Sanford is a politician whose very views are based on family values...McNair was an athlete who was no where nearly as beholden to values. True, he should not have committed adultery, but an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind!

The liberal outcry against Sanford: S.C. Republicans Censure Sanford

Hmmm,
On one of the four impeachment articles:
--Gibbons and Ensign voted to impeach on Article 1, which charged the president committed perjury on Aug. 17 before a grand jury investigating his relationship with one-time White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

You want liberal outcry, it would be Gun control, gun control !!

Imagine this if you will, you find out that what you thought was the love of your life, father of your kids, had been a bald faced lying whore. How do you go to the funeral? How do you do right by your kids? How can you not just be ate up with unimaginable anger? Tough stuff.

You are exactly right, his wife will be sorting through some complex emotions for a long time to come. Nobody deserves to be murdered. I hope however, all those who think that betraying those you are promised to, is a romantic notion, remember that there are real emotions and lives that are destroyed. And to those women who think that it's just fine to destroy a marriage for your personal gain, think twice.

What happen to McNair was awful and a tragedy for his wife and kids but it's not going to change the minds of any woman who wants a sugar daddy or any man who wants a young woman on the side, especially sports stars. That's life.

I have a feeling that in a few weeks, after Mrs. McNair learns about the insurance money (hopefully double indemnity) and how much she will receive from his NFL pension and whatever other monies he has, she will be just fine!!

I'm just gobsmacked that a young woman of 20 would be in such despair that she would commit murder and then kill herself. I know she must have been unstable but, really, she was only 20 and very pretty. She could have gotten another man, probably one with more money.

She will be just fine. Kids still need a father. You can't put a price on that.
