After reports that India was annoyed by President Barack Obama’s rapport with China, the president appears to be trying to make amends. At a joint press conference on Tuesday with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Obama hailed the relationship between their two countries as one of the “defining partnerships” in the world. Obama said that he and Singh had agreed to “work even closer” on sharing information between law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Garvagh

Wh is there so little discussion in US newspapers on India's efforts in Afghanistan. And Iran's efforts in Afghanistan? The navel-gazing quality of inside-the-Beltway thinking truly is striking. And it does a disservice to the American people.

The reason is that India is a complete ZERO when it comes to improving the world. (actually, a MINUS)

Though India has burdened the world with one-fourth of the world's population, India has done NOTHING to improve this world.

India has nuclear weapons, India has ballistic missiles, India has military jet aircraft.

But India cannot feed its own people.

India is a bottomless pit and every business venture started in India goes bankrupt.

You say the Indian economy is growing? COMPARED TO WHAT?

If Indians are so smart, if Indians are so well educated, if Indians are so hard-working, why is India a toilet?

Indians are desperate to get to the United States.

Indians are desparate to escape their country filled with people JUST LIIKE THEM!

Nonsense.

Silicon Valley was around without Indians and will can continue without Indians.

Again, if Indians are that smart, educated, hard-working

why aren't these magical Indians transforming their own country

from a toilet to a place that even Indians would want to live in.

Of course Indians want to move to Silicon Valley.

Silicon Valley has indoor plumbing and electrical power 24 hours a day.

India, on the other hand, is an open sewer that most Indians are trying to escape.

And the reason India is a toilet is because of the Indians living there.
