Obama Invites Hollywood to Dinner
President Obama may not have turned Washington, D.C. into the celebrity destination like some had predicted, but the showbiz bigwigs will be back in town on Tuesday night to help welcome Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Nikki Finke reports that Obama has invited to his first state dinner former DreamWorks partners David Geffen, Steven Spielberg, and Jeffrey Katzenberg; Sony Pictures Entertainment Chairman Michael Lynton; and WME Entertainment Agency co-CEO Ari Emanuel. Invitations to the dinner are largely handed out as “thank yous” to important political donors.

I know its hard for you to believe that they didn't test the soil before they planted their garden. they didn't, its contaminated! so why continue the fraud, gonna serve the contaminated veggies at state dinner at the WH and the FOOD NETWORK continuing the fraud by having the chefs prepare veggies from Shelly's garden. It shows a certain disregard for the truth or a PR campaign, truth be damned. You think you would have let Laura pretend all was well with her garden? hell no, you wouldn't have.

Its sad, the only thing Shelly does well, beside hula hoop and jumping rope, is her garden. She worked her fingers to the bone, to feed the poor from her garden. oh, my! will she wear a big bow or have a belt hold up her boobs, the suspense is killing me! what will Shelly wear!

Who is Shelly?sorry, and can someone explain, what is the trouble with the White House vegetables.!!Now on th other hand, i understand the President has to invite, the powerfull, the wealthy,the connected,the mighty.and Ron Emanuels brother.I understand and I am not upset, this is reality. But please when people say money is not everything, those that might have supported and did support the president, but have no big money, are not invited.Money walks, money talks, and that is true. Shelly is the 87 year old touched in the head auntie they keep locked in a room in a building adjacent to the private residence at 1600.... They dress her up and let her out when company comes over and another family member is needed for the head count. She's allergic to most fruits and vegetables delivered to her by the volunteers of "Meals on Wheels"... What she can't eat her relatives sell at the Capitol Hill Green Market on Saturdays, the extra money is later distributed as payment for services rendered. It's been suspected for years she too has been neglected.... but its gonna be harder to prove since she now no longer lives on the south side of Chicago.
