Netanyahus Obsessions

Did Bibi Call Rahm a "Self-hating Jew"?

This doesn’t bode well for Israel’s relationship with the U.S.: According to Haaretz, “[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu appears to be suffering from confusion and paranoia. He is convinced that the media are after him, that his aides are leaking information against him and that the American administration wants him out of office. Two months after his visit to Washington, he is still finding it difficult to communication [sic] normally with the White House. To appreciate the depth of his paranoia, it is enough to hear how he refers to Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod, Obama's senior aides: as ‘self-hating Jews.’” The Israeli P.M. is reportedly obsessed with the media, surrounded by bickering aides, and has created “an atmosphere of permanent crisis.”

Can't they just hate themselves without bringing in the Jewishness?

The sooner Bibi is out, the sooner they can stop killing Palestinians

Yeah... they'll just elect someone else to do it.

Yeah right, when pigs fly and the Palestinians will elect someone new in Hamas who will quit lobbing bombs at Israel, when purple pigs fly! Biblical transgressions far exceed our modern abilities to arbitrate.

Itzik Rabin had a deal for the Palestinians and a Jewish terrorist killed him.

Does Israel have any friends in the world besides the U.S.? I can't think of any. You would think Israelis would be interested in keeping the only friend it has.

Nobody else really likes them and with good reason. Turkey is about the next closest thing to a friend those scumbags have outside of the U.S. and that could likely change generationally.

the history of Israel is a comedy in English and French, with a touch of American thrown in- but one thing is certain: to put it in the middle of its most hated enemies is surely some kind of joke-- why didn't germany have to pay for their atrocities and house the Jews? I realize I'm channeling ahmadinejad- but sorry, can't help myself

"why didn't germany have to pay for their atrocities and house the Jews?"

Exactly what I've wondered. After all, it was the Germans who actually forced the Holocaust on the Jewish people. And at the end of World War II it wasn't like there weren't any border changes. Germany completely lost East Prussia to Poland which also got territory up to the Oder-Neisse line (in exchange for territory Poland had to formally cede to the Soviets in their east.) This involved the humongous mass migration of millions of Germans who didn't want to end up living in Poland. So if that was OK then why not carve out a chunk of Germany to give to the Jews? Declare it the homeland for Jewish people, let them migrate there and set up a government, declare it independent and be done with it. Germans would have absolutely NO room to complain about the inconvenience.

Instead because of the Holocaust guilt trip the Zionists end up being allowed to colonize (and would ultimately ethnically cleanse) lands belonging for eons to the Palestinians. The U.N. should have seen what a horrible failed experiment this Zionist apartheid state would end up being back in 1948 and told them "It's a chunk of Germany or nothing. Deal with it."

I believe we should support Israel. I really do. But I do NOT believe we should support their bad behavior.

If Benny has to go... "Don't let the doorknob hit ya where the good Lord split ya!"

That ungrateful jerk... after all we have done for Israel. It has cost us dearly... and if they don't realize that fact we should withdraw that support if only for a short time to prove a point.

(I am no Palestinian appologist, but what Israel does to them is just as bad if not worse then anything the Palestinians have ever done to Israel. Two wrongs don't make a right, and you won't have the moral high ground unless you're willing to pay for it.)

It is just so tiresome the way some Jews equate differing views with either anti-antisemitism or self hating. Cut off their 3 bil/yr. payments to get his attention.

Rahm Emanuel a "self-hating Jew"?? This is hilarious. He did volunteer work for the Israeli Army during the 1990-'91 Gulf War. Not for the U.S. Army. He spends most of his summers in Tel Aviv. His father was an Israeli Irgun terrorist. Rahm's a tool of A.I.P.A.C. who committed to Obama over Hillary after Obama's sickeningly sycophantic A.I.P.A.C. speech. The guy is a Zionist to the bone. So is Axelrod. Netanyahu is off his rocker.

Bibi is the classical narcissist politician and Israeli version of a neocon. He is obstructing peace, and his recent tantrum regarding Rahm is absurd. Rahm and his family are proud of their Israeli background.

Bibi is a paranoid and rigid conservative who does the personal destruction thing if he is opposed politically. He will fail in his current term. The sooner he moves on, the sooner some adult and realistic rapprochment is possible.
