RNC Insurance Plan Covers Abortion
What up with this, Michael Steele? Politico is reporting that the insurance plan that the Republican National Committee offers its employees covers abortions, which the GOP platform calls “a fundamental assault on innocent human life.” In all, 176 House Republicans voted last week with 64 Democrats for the Stupak amendment to the health-care bill, which would prohibit federal funds from being used by individuals to purchase plans that cover abortions. According to an RNC spokeswoman, “The current policy has been in effect since 1991, and we are taking steps to address the issue.”

I find this greatly amusing.
Pelosi and the dems pass a healthcare bill that bans abortion, and the republicans offer a bill that covers abortion.
The political landscape is changing quickly in DC.
Troll.
And Plant...
The GOP didn't offer a plan that covers abortion. The RNC workers use a plan that does.
It's called hypocrisy, Plant. Look it up.
"Do as I say... sure as hell don't do as I do."
nanticore and plantarwart-
two trolls in a row, not ducks, trolls.
Wow.. the world shes a changing.
Wow, apparently Plant, you didn't even read the article, just the headline. Or else you just have no reading comprehension.
If the truth be known manticore is really embarrassed, humiliated, confused and betrayed by this news.
And seriously plant, you don't have to always reply to the first comment just so you can see your stupid name near the top of every article. Unless it is actually a reply, which it rarely is.
troll - ignore.
Please Do No Water The Plant.
But if you must
Then simply
Piss in the
Pot
Your list of trolls should definitely have included Demsdisorder, cbeenthere.
socialworklady: If I die laughing, it's your fault!
These guys were so busy playing pinata with the Democratic plan, they didn't spend any time on evaluating their own plan used by the RNC. They spent about the same amout of time perfecting their own plan. Pretty pathetic.
Oh no you don't RNC, it is too late, you are found out again for your gross hypocrisy. The lowest of the low.
Did Steele have a stroke? Well, the repubs will never, ever get a healthcare bill to pass but now at least the Dems can include insurance that covers abortion. This is great news. Thank you Repubs.
R O F L M A O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now if we could only find out how many times this option has been "used" by the RNC it would be really amusing.
It is a fact, though, that obviously it's not used enough.
LMFAO!
That would be great wouldn't it, and the wives never knew.
THANK YOU GOP. God you people are freaking DUMB. seriously who are the GOP strategists?
Now Dems let's make it Bipartison and help the GOP by covering abortion LOL.

That's right prickly,
like with all things the G.O.P. are hypocrites on abortion too. Ditto with pre-marital sex, adultery, drugs, lying etc. I'm sure the protect the medical charts of their wives and mistresses very well or send them to Europe for a quick "vacation" to cover up their tracks.
I staring to think Steel and the obama are related.
I staring to think you no speak English good.
you be right, he no speek inglish good. he bad troll.
I haven't had this many laughs since Rita disappeared!
me no speak a English but i do get free HC ;=)
BUSTED!!!
Holy crap. Do these people have any values whatsoever? Is ANYTHING they say legitimate?
While I am a staunch Liberal, I would welcome a Republican party that actually has ideas and agendas to help the American people and facts and beliefs to back them up.
Can you imagine if both parties of our two party system were working to produce the best legislation for the betterment of the people based on their actual beliefs rather than knee - jerking against any type of progress? We might have a chance to truly improve this country and make it the strongest in the world domestically and on a global scale.
Republican Voters: These are your leaders. They are supposed to fighting for you and your ideals. Is this why you put them in office? So they can stand on their one tenant of Capitalism, which has resulted in massive economic collapses, a health care system that results in 45,000 dead a year, and the top 1% owning more wealth than the bottom 95% combined including you? So they can tell you "we can have this, but you can't"? So they can lie to you? Cheat, and steal from you?
Honestly, doesn't this make you upset? Don't you feel betrayed? Do you really feel represented?
These people are not on your side. They're not fighting for your freedoms. In fact they work very hard to make sure you have fewer freedoms. (Abortions, public option, Iraq, etc.) They are on their own side and on the side of big money business. They've proven it over and over and over and over and over...
So does this mean that if members of the DNC have health insurance that covers child birth, that makes them pro-life?
You just can't trust these elected officials anymore.......
When you make a statement like this Carole, since you always lecture others, where is your proof that your statement is correct? Or do you just like your position as an oppositional defiant person who has that disorder? It is so childish of you to rely on others to look up information you should provide.
Oh, for God's sake, lighten up, cb. Obviously you didn't care for my light hearted banter on a DB headline that was meant to incite. Such idiocy isn't worthy of anything more than a joke. But so many got sucked in and displayed the usual tripe.
Now get some rest and try to do something about that displaced aggression.
Night nite..............
You are right Carole, I apologize for not half reading your post and underestimating your ability at humor. I just though you were being your old acerbic self. Congrats on your joke.
By the by just the other day weren't you selling your idea that elective abortions weren't covered under any policies. Guess you were incorrect.
I really get it now, I thought it was your usual the dems do it too. Yes, sorry. Bravo.
That does not relate at all. Democrat are not against births. HAVING babies is not a hot,. controversial topic. Abortions and whether or not they are covered is a WHOLE different potato.
Guess what Carole, Pro-choice covers BOTH keeping the pregnancy and terminating the pregnancy. Pro-choice includes being a pro-birth (a.k.a. pro-life) person.
But as usual when caught in hypocrisy you try to change the subject and attack liberals. Nice try. You guys are still hypocrites on ALL issues.
"RNC Insurance Plan Covers Abortion" Maybe it's this: Republicans haven't a clue what abortions are.
Why would Republican politicians need abortion coverage? Little boys can't get pregnant!
All of those horny "C Street" Republicans need options available in case they knock up their mistresses.
So, I guess the Stupak Amendment is going to be expanded to include a ban of insurance coverage for Viagra and vasectomies?????
The Repuglicans are the biggest hypocrites in the world! I have lost count of all the times that they said one thing - and did another!
When the Republi-cons do it its not abortion, its God's will.
CO-SIGN.
Just like if it involved MEN, it would be considered a sacrament!
Like Carrie Prejean in her pornographic video, Born again minister and Bush adviser Ted Haggard having sex with a male prostitute, or Republican Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho propositioning a cop in a Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport bathroom, or well you just fill in the blanks...
Their hypocrisy is boundless.
I can't wait for the excuses. "Oh shit. We didn't even see that there! Let 's just go ahead and sweep that uder the rug and...."

I'm sorry, but is the plan that the RNC provides its employees subsidized by federal tax dollars? Because that's what the Stupak Amendment dealt with.
Learn the difference between private and public before you start screaming hypocrisy, dimwits.
hypocrites. dimwits. repubs.
The Stupak amendment applies also to PRIVATE INSURANCE plans so it is EXACTLY the same thing as the G.O.P. plan. Additionally since companies get a tax-break for offering private insurance, tax-payer dollars DO cover abortions. The Stupak amendment is simply STUPID!
It applies to private insurance plans that receive subsidies from the government. Again, I ask if the RNC plan receives those subsidies. If not, it's not hypocrisy, and everyone screaming that it is are morons.
Figures. Well perhaps they should have taken "steps to address the issue" before they started grandstanding about the health-care bill that wouldn't have funded abortions to begin with.
Clean up your own backyard, then you can talk about mine.
Thank you.
