Runaway Governor

Sanford Didn't Break Law

Looks like Mark Sanford’s opponents will have to pursue avenues other than impeachment in order to remove him: “South Carolina's top police official says Gov. Mark Sanford did not improperly use state funds for visits with his Argentine mistress,” according to the Associated Press. Sanford’s spokesman, meanwhile, reiterated that the governor does not intend to resign. The Sanford family is off to Florida this weekend for the holiday.

The good news here is that the "Sanford Family" has gone on holiday together. Now if the busybodies in the press and the democrats-peeking-in-bedroom-windows club will just leave them alone, hopefully they can put their family back together.

THE TOP POLICE OFFICIAL HAS A WIFE AND A FAMILY TO FEED. HE DOESN'T NEED TO BE A VICTIM LIKE ANOTHER TOP POLICE OFFICIAL IN ALASKA DOES HE?
BUT BESIDES ALL THAT. YOU PUKES, AND THAT INCLUDES YOU PLANTAGENET, HAD NO PROBLEM PEEKING-IN-BEDROOM WINDOWS ON CLINTON AND SPITZER DID YOU? AND NEITHER OF THEM BROKE ANY LAWS EITHER. WHO THE F**K DO U PUKES THINK YOU ARE. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND YOU PATHETIC SKUM!! LMAO THE F**KING GOVERNOR DISAPPEARS FOR 4 DAYS ALARMING ARE NATIONAL SECURITY THINKING HE MAY HAVE BEEN KID-NAPPED OR MURDERED AND HE'S IN BUENOS AIRES BOPPING AROUND WITH A SEXY LATINA (THE ONLY WISE CHOICE HE MADE). YOU CALL IT PEEPING IN WINDOWS, THE REST OF THE NORMAL WORLD CALLS IT CONCERN FOR OUR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS WHEN THEY DISAPPEAR WITHOUT NOTICE. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE? I HEARD IT'S NICE. GIVE IT A TRY LET ME KNOW HOW IT IS.

THE WAY OF POLITICS HAS BECOME A HAIR-PULLING NIGHTMARE FOR NORMAL MINDED PEOPLE. THE REPUBLICANS HAVE THIS UNIQUE ARROGANCE ABOUT THEMSELVES THAT NOT ALL THE SHOCK TREATMENT IN THE WORLD CAN SAVE THEM.
THEY DO THE MOST RIDICULOUS THINGS AND SWEAR TO THEIR MOTHER THEY DONT DESERVE PUNISHMENT.
HOW HYPOCRITICAL CAN THE REPUKES BE TO JUMP ALL OVER BILL CLINTON AND MAKE NASTY REMARKS (AND I AM TALKING ABOUT GOVERNOR SANFORD WHO BASHED CLINTON WHEN THE LEWINSKY THING HAPPENED) AND THEN NOT ONLY DOES YOUR SANFORD DO THE SAME THING, BUT HE DRIVES THE NSA AND FBI NUTS, HE FALLS INLOVE WITH HER LIKE A 12 YEAR OLD, AND THEN YOU PUKES ARE LIKE "Now if the busybodies in the press and the democrats-peeking-in-bedroom-windows club will just leave them alone, hopefully they can put their family back together." ARE YOU REALLY THIS STUPID?? DID SOMEONE TELL ALL OF YOU PUKES IN SOME SECRET MEETING THAT THIS WORLD IS YOURS? ONLY YOU CAN HAVE AFFAIRS AND NOONE IS TO TOUCH YOU? ONLY YOU CAN STICK YOUR NOSE IN DEMOCRATS AFFAIRS BUT THEY CANT RETURN THE FAVOR? PERSONALLY I DONT GIVE A SHIT WHAT SANFORD DID. NOR DO I GIVE A CRAP WHAT CLINTON AND SPITZER DID. IF IT DIDNT EFFECT THEIR WORK, SO BE IT. HELL, CLINTON HAD MORE THAN ONE AFFAIR...BUT HE ALSO LEFT BUSH A $5.6 TRILLION SURPLUS AND LEFT THIS COUNTRY IN THE BEST SHAPE EVER. HEY, MAYBE FOR SOME PEOPLE, A QUICKIE IS A WORK ENHANCER I DUNNO. BUT IT WASNT EFFECTING CLINTON AND IT WASNT EFFECTING SPITZER. BUT THE PUKES LIKE FAT UGLY LINDA TRIPP AND THAT WHINING PUNK TEDESCO JUMPING ALL OVER THE DEMOCRATIC PENISES TO RESIGN IS PURE BABYSHIT!! AND SANFORD, THE BIGGEST BABY CRAP OF THEM ALL, SHOULD BE A MAN AND APOLOGIZE TO BILL CLINTON FOR HIS PUKE OUTBURSTS..AS IF HE IS SUCH A GOOD CONGENIAL CITIZEN.
THE PROBLEM WITH THIS WHOLE THING IS THAT WE DEMOCRATS ARE TOO COOL FOR DRAMA. WE'RE NOT FAG GOSSIPERS AND TROUBLE MAKERS. YOU DONT SEE ANY DEMS ON TV DEMANDING RESIGNATION OF SANFORD OR ELSE THEY'LL FILE FOR IMPEACHMENT...RIGHT MR JAMES TEDESCO??? RIGHT MR LINDA TRIPP??

This show how politician such as Sanford is still in denial. At first, I was sympathetic to him, want to cut this guy some slacks despite his philandering and public humiliation of his wife, after all, this man seemed to be really in love for the first time in is life, so I was willing to give his rambling press conference a sympathetic ear. But now, I realized he is just like any other slick politician, telling lies after lies and put on a good show. Politics must be so intoxicated, like drugs, if you get accustomed to the power and the perk, you want to hold on to it. This is the state Sanford is and he need intervention. Someone got to tell him that it is just unbecoming for a lying and cheating man to be the highest leader of the state of SC. His political career is practically over so don't linger, the votes deserve a clean break from him, to say the least.

Sanford is closely allied to a fascist-style "Jesus" cult, The Family, which has a number of prominent right-wing members of Congress as members. They have advised him in the wake of his "going astray" and have likened him to the Bible's King David, who not only took another man's wife, but had the other man killed. The Family's take on this is that even though such act would be considered very wrong for any normal man, because King David was chosen by g-d, nothing he does is wrong. You may recall that Sanford referred to his own errors as similar to those of King David, so if this silly man (nut case, in my opinion) really thinks that he is truly chosen of g-d, why should he resign from the governorship. I doubt if his wife agrees, but this is what is going on. This cult has gotten more and more powerful over the years. A lot of people don't know it, but they are the originators, and still the organizers of "the National Prayer Breakfast." The power of this group and its insidious working into the heart of our government needs to be exposed and stopped. As I understand it, Sen Ensign is also a member.

Pope Obama has certainly contributed to the take over of the government by the religious zealots:

White House Announces Troubling Faith-Based Order, ACLU Says Administration Is Heading Into Uncharted Waters (2/5/2009)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CONTACT: (202) 675-2312 or media@dcaclu.org

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama announced today that he is taking the unprecedented and troubling step of forming a federal advisory committee to be made up mostly of religious leaders. Also of great concern, President Obama will increase federal funds going to religious organizations without first changing the Bush-era rules allowing federally-funded religious organizations to apply religious hiring tests to employees.

"President Obama launched his faith-based initiative today by heading into uncharted and dangerous waters," said Caroline Fredrickson, Director of the ACLU Washington Legislative Office. "What we are seeing today is significant - a president giving his favored clergy a governmental stamp of approval. There is no historical precedent for presidential meddling in religion - or religious leaders meddling in federal policy - through a formal government advisory committee made up mostly of the president's chosen religious leaders."

Today's announcement included the appointment of 25 members of a government advisory committee that will be dominated by religious leaders. The mission of the government committee will be to advise the president and the White House faith-based office on how to distribute federal dollars, and also advise on a range of other issues such as AIDS and women's reproductive health care. Although former President George W. Bush gave prominence to his faith-based initiative and informally consulted with individual religious leaders, even he never formed a government advisory committee made up primarily of clergy.

The Bush Administration and Congressional Republicans have sought to minimize the role that their own policies have played in producing this massive fiscal reversal. Yet, in the absence of the Administration's tax cuts, the budget would have returned to surplus within the ten-year budget window. For 2004, tax cuts are responsible for 60 percent of the budget deterioration caused by policy changes.
Economy Slow to Rebound - Middle-class Americans and the economy still struggle after three rounds of tax cuts and almost four years of Republican control in Washington - and ten years of their control in the Congress. After $2.25 trillion of tax cuts targeted to those who need the help the least, the Administration has failed to generate a meaningful recovery for an economy that slumped on its watch: nearly 1.7 million private-sector jobs have been lost since Bush took office, and the typical person losing a job is out of work about twice as long as he or she was four years ago. The number of "discouraged workers" is more than double what it was four years ago, and the number of people who are working part-time because they cannot find full-time work is up by almost half. For those who are employed, wages remain flat; inflation-adjusted weekly wages have barely budged over the last four years.
Meanwhile, the total amount of 2001-2006 tax cuts for households with more than $1 million of income was projected to be on average $119,517 in 2007.
%u2022 The comparable figure for households with incomes of $50,000 to $75,000 is $1,163.
%u2022 Millionaires therefore recieved an average tax cut 103 times larger than that of households with incomes $50,000 and
$75,000, 176 times greater than the average tax cut for households with $20,000 to $50,000 of income and 72 times larger
than that of households with $75,000 to $100,000 of income.
****SO JUST WTF IS YOUR POINT??

These things were so much easier when freemasons were blamed! Skull and bones! Now they've gone and mucked it up with religion. Geez, lets twist and turn and flap in the breeze over this.

didn't he spend taxpayer money on the private part of his vacation, perhaps plan the trip around that instead of government work? Not to be confused with 'private parts'....

Oh, good grief.
This is a private matter, brought into the public eye by the stupid decisions of one man.

Any staff member of mine who disappears for four days, without warning, and is unreachable by phone or email, had better be in the hospital, arrested, or dead.
Or he/she will be fired.
SC, are you listening?

And no, this isn't about political ideology.
Try it with your boss and see what happens.

Determining whether or not state funds are missing is hardly the job a law enforcement. It would take a number of auditors weeks to determine if funds are missing and they would need to start at the beginning of the dishonest governor first term. The people of South Carolina deserve better than this failed governor who is operating at a 871 million dollar deficit for the current year and has drown the state in debt. Sanford is unfit for office. He has a history of misappropriating state funds and being allowed to repay when, and only when, he gets caught. Both Jenny Sanford and the state of South Carolina need to ponder if this dishonest, unstable, homely politician is all that they deserve.
