Does your business need a former vice-presidential candidate? You’re in luck. Sarah Palin has posted her resume to LinkedIn, the professional social-networking site, and she’s interested in “job inquiries.” Her credentials include “Governor, State of Alaska” from December 2006 to June 2009, and “Vice Presidential Candidate” from “2008-2008.” For her education, Sarah Palin only lists the University of Idaho, though she attended four other universities before earning her degree.

What a non-sequitor. I'm no fan of Condoleezza Rice but she's no dummy. She had a BA at 19/Phi Beta Kappa and subsequently went all the way to a PhD in political science. She has the credentials to teach. The same cannot be said about Palin and her five colleges in five years to get a BA in journalism. Stick to the topic.

Higher degrees apparently don't demark brilliance. Condy's no dummy, sure, but she's no intellectual genius either...and I think those who get into Stanford have the right to expect to be taught by independent-thinking geniuses.

I am not a fan of Condi either. However, she had been at Stanford as a full professor of political science with a specialty in the Soviet Union through most of the 90's. She became a student of George Schultz who recommended her to become a Board Memver of Chevron. Once with Cheveron she became a key negotiator for oil drilling rights in the Stans..She had a good relationship due to her soviet studies connections abroad with the president of Khazakstan where she helped negotiate the oil rights for Chevron in that newly independent post russian satelite state. Condi is as deep in the oil industry as even W..

YOu know, I wondered the same thing when Barack Obama got his wife Michelle that job at the Chicago hospital and then her salary went from $117,000 to over $300,000 after he became U.S. Senator.

Todd has held two jobs, one in commercial fishing (so Sarah can be photographed landing a fish) and on the north slope working for BP. He quit the latter job recently. Between $7MM and a household without a mother there, he is needed for some parenting.
