Taliban Training Kids for Suicide Bombings
A Taliban leader is buying children, training them for suicide bombing missions, and selling the children for $6,000 to $12,000 to other Taliban leaders, U.S. and Pakistan officials say. "[Baitullah Mehsud] has been been admitting he holds a training center for young boys, for preparing them for suicide bombing. So he is on record saying all this, accepting these crimes," the spokesman for the Pakistani army told CNN. A video of children at a training camp shows them killing and practicing exercises. Pakistan has stepped up its effort to remove the Taliban from its North West Frontier Province and, in response, the Taliban has increased the use of suicide bombing in the region.

Pol Pot used to do that before he secured victory in Cambodia. They wrap four year olds in explosive vests and tell them the pull cord will send them straight to their mommies and daddies.
The Taliban are the Middle Eastern equivalent of the Khmer Rouge. And I'm glad Obama and the Democrats have shown the good sense and decency to do everything in their power to wipe them out. I just wish George Bush had done the same, instead of running around Iraq to secure a fuel supply that really needs to be replaced before Global Warming destroys us all.

Obama is leaving 10s of thousands of soldiers in Iraq and is substantially increasing troop levels in Afghanistan (which actually pisses off a large portion of the Dem party). But maybe what you meant to say was "Obama really doesn't care about PRETENDING to keep our country safe with an ill-equipped force and a half-assed plan".

The money behind all of this activity comes from the poppy fields. The sale of the opium after distilling the sticky black gold into white powder (heroin) is paying for this.
When we occupy the opium poppy fields and make deals with the farmers that we are purchasing their whole crop - then Taliban will be out of business. Not before.
