Growing up in the 50's and the 60's "urban" legend had it that 1% of people walking the street in the US are insane and or live beyond the boundaries of societal norms, which is why OUTLAW BIKERS wear the 1% patch. Based on my experiences over the past 20 years on the internet first on bulletin boards, IRC nets,and now the blogosphere we need to revise the 1% figure up to about 10%. The internet has brought out all the lunatics to come out and dialogue with other loonies and has empowered them into believing that their thoughts and ideas are mainstream, so now they act out leaving their trailer parks and hovels to inflict their wierdness on the rest of society. You don't have to go any further than reading your local craigslist rants and raves, adult gigs,and each category of the personals section especially the casual encounters. You can't blame craigslist but i do place blame on public figures who have made civil discourse as something from history.yes people like NEWT MICHELLE BACHMAN RUSH GLENN BECK FOX NEWS ETC.Here again we have another pregnant woman murdered and her unborn child ripped from her womb by another WOMAN does it bother any one else but me that the Court allowed "expert" prosecution testimony in the Peterson murder trial before the jury which stated that the expert had conducted a "study" and found that all such murders were committed by men and refused to permit a defense "expert"to testify that the first expert was incorrect.despite the fact that now that these case are reported in the news all such murders seem to be committed by women?

Well, Craigs List is taking a beating. Catchy phrase, "Craigs List Killer." If the classified ad had been, say, in their own paper, the Oregonian , would the headline read "Oregonian Killer" ? Not hardly. Cheap shot journalism.
