Yankees Head to World Series
The Yankees are back. It's been six years since they made it to the World Series, but last night they sealed the deal during Game 6 of the American League Championship Series by beating the Anaheim Angels 5—2. Winning the ALCS marked the high point of what the New York Post called a "magical" season. Ultimately, pitcher Andy Pettitte, who had taken a massive pay cut, won the game for the team. His 38th post-season start marked a record, and over 6 1/3 innings in Game 6, he gave up a mere run and seven hits. Because a Game 7 playoff game has been avoided, the Yankees will be able to set up their rotation to begin the series against the Phillies with ace pitcher CC Sabathia.

"...against the Phillies with ace pitcher CC Sabathia."
Please. We all know what the Phils did to him in last year's NLDS series. He's a bum. I can't wait to watch the Phils destroy those suck-ass Yankees.

Well, I guess I'm going with the Phillies. Because the Dodgers got eliminated, I won't have to go over to the Dark Side (Darth Steinbrenner's boys).

I'd like to go to a World Series once in my life, but living in NYC I don't want to pay such high prices for tickets. There must be a lot of Wall Street bonuses being paid out for those who can afford to attend. Scoundrels quickly buy all available tickets and then sell them on the internet for a lot more. Maybe I'd get to sit next to Kate Hudson and then be assured television time.
Thank you.
