Bad news, Netflix users: The U.S. Postal Service plans to see through plans to cut Saturday delivery. USPS is hoping to save money, though the amount saved—$3.3 billion in the first year—is a mere chink in the $238 billion budget deficit that it faces by 2020. Post offices would remain open on Saturdays, and the postal service would continue processing and transporting mail, but it would not deliver it to homes and businesses. Congress requires six days of delivery and so will have to give USPS permission.
