Model Stephanie Seymour and Peter Brant Call Off Divorce

Victoria’s Secret supermodel Stephanie Seymour and her billionaire husband, Peter Brant, walked into divorce court and declared they’re staying married on Monday, astonishing reporters as they left holding hands. "After the first hearing with you, I said I thought you were going to reconcile and I'd forgotten about it," Connecticut Superior Court Judge Lynda Munro said during the 10-minute hearing. "I'm a true believer in marriage. It's hard work growing old together, but it's actually sort of fun." Seymour and Brant left without comment, but issued a statement saying they're reconciling. Seymour, 41, was a Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition covergirl, while Brant, 63, owns White Birch Paper Co., which operates paper mills. In August, The New York Times called their divorce—which notoriously involved changing locks and sleeping in maid’s quarters—“one of the most bitter, high-profile divorces in years.”
