Backstreet’s back alright, and this time they’ve brought along some friends. Teenyboppers—or rather, twentysomethings—have reason to celebrate, as seminal boy bands the Backstreet Boys and the New Kids on the Block will be touring together, according to Ryan Seacrest, who broke the news Wednesday on his radio show. The tour will kick off next summer and take the two acts all across the United States, with specific cities and venues pending. There will be nine guys onstage, said Seacrest, which means that former Backstreet Boys member Kevin Richardson, will not rejoin the band for the tour. Seacrest also confirmed that both groups’ full lineups will be performing together on the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 21.
