WikiLeaks' Supporters Launch Vast Cyberattack

There’s a battle outside, and it’s raging. Following the arrest of WikiLeaks figurehead Julian Assange, hackers worldwide promised retribution, and retribution they have wrought. Massive-scale attacks against MasterCard and Visa, after the credit giants stopped accepting payments to WikiLeaks, temporarily brought down the websites of each (credit-card users haven’t been affected). Sarah Palin, who has been vocal in her condemnation of Assange, comparing him to a member of al Qaeda, has come under attack as well. The credit-card accounts of her and her husband have been disrupted and her website, SarahPAC, has come under cyberassault.
