Where Are the Healthiest Cities?

Now's your big chance to move in the New Year. Men's Health and Women's Health magazines published their annual Best and Worst Cities issues on Tuesday, in which they assess the best cities based on health for each gender, based on obesity, smoking, fruit and vegetable consumption, and mortality rate. Madison, Wisconsin topped the best list for men, while Plano, Texas came out on top for women. According to Men's Health's editor, Madison is always a strong contender on the list because there are so many doctors in the city. Women's Health says Plano has a great proportion of single men to single women—139 single men for every 100 single ladies. Philadelphia ranked as the worst city for women, and St. Louis was rated as the worst for men.
