Apparently we can add stadium-show rock star to the list of jobs going overseas. Bon Jovi, the world’s top-earning concert act, made half its $201.1 million in ticket revenue from shows outside North America. AC/DC and U2, the second- and third-highest earning shows, made all their money overseas. Lady Gaga, who played two-thirds of her shows abroad, came in at No. 4 with $133.6 million, but she worked harder for it, playing 138 shows, compared to AC/DC’s 40 concerts and U2’s 32 shows. Metallica was the fifth highest-earning act, making $110.1 million from 60 overseas shows.
