Meet Google’s Latest Competitor

Will Qwiki dethrone Google? The search engine, which was founded by Doug Imbruce and AltaVista founder Dr. Louis Monier, will "deliver information in a format that's quintessentially human—via storytelling instead of search," according to the company's website. The site will combine text, video, and Wikipedia-like data to give a user a personalized search experience, and one that can “talk back” to the user. Qwiki has already raised $8 million in investments, with much coming from Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin.
