Members of the Libyan opposition have denied reports that they were negotiating a deal for Muammar Gaddafi to leave the country. Members of the new Libyan National Transitional Council have said there are no such talks, while a spokesman said the council had not agreed to not pursue criminal charges against Gaddafi if he stands down in the next three days. The original report of a deal with Gaddafi came from a member of a different opposition group called the February 17 Coalition.
