After pleading guilty to having sex with an underage prostitute, football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor will serve six years of probation and must register as a sex offender. Taylor paid the girl, who is now 17, $300 for sex in a New York hotel in May 2010. She says she was forced to go to the room, and believes Taylor was able to tell that she had been beaten and was underage. Taylor, who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge, says he was unaware, but now realizes she was not of age. The terms of the New York Giants legend’s sex-offender status have not yet been set, but his victim says the sentence is inadequate, and that he should have been sent to jail.
