Just hours after DNC Chairman Tim Kaine announced his bid for a Virginia Senate seat, Democrats have already tapped his successor. Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz will take Kaine’s place as head of the national Democratic Party, according to various reports, becoming the first woman to hold the prominent post.
