Fox is set to reboot The Flintstones, with Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, as executive producer. “I think America is finally ready for an animated sitcom about a fat stupid guy with a wife who’s too good for him,” said MacFarlane, who plans to give the series a “21st-century spin,” according to the Los Angeles Times. The show is not likely to air until 2013.
