Lockheed Martin released more information Saturday on what it called “a significant tenacious” attack on its systems network last week. While no customer, program, or employee data was compromised, the company is still working to employ access to some employees. The attack appears to stem from an from an earlier data breach at EMC Corporation, which provides electronic “tokens” to Lockheed employees and government officials so they can access networks from home. The U.S. Defense Department is working with Lockheed to investigate the attack.
