John Malkovich Robbed in Prague

This has the makings of a Kafka story. Actor John Malkovich, in Prague to perform the serial killer musical melodrama The Infernal Comedy, discovered his hotel room had been burglarized. The thief took two mobile phones from the actor's room at the Mandarin Oriental hotel. Malkovich was scheduled to fly to Poland this morning, but had to delay his flight because his documents were stolen. Malkovich starred in the 1999 comedy Being John Malkovich, in which a pupeteer finds a secret door into the actor's brain. A spokeswoman for the hotel says an investigation is under way.
