Keith Olbermann can make the big bucks even without MSNBC. The man who called a president “idiot-in-chief” revealed that he’ll be making $10 million a year to bring Countdown with Keith Olbermann to startup Current TV—and could make up to $100 million over five years with his equity stake in the channel. He tells The Hollywood Reporter that his contributors will include fellow MSNBC outcast David Shuster, populist filmmaker Michael Moore, and Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi. He also says he was booted from hosting Sunday Night Football Pre-Show after he was caught speculating that Jeff Zucker would lose his post at NBC (which he eventually did) and he has not spoken to Rachel Maddow since leaving the network.
