Gaddafi Forces Hit Back

Forces loyal to Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi are striking back in the rebel-held city of Misrata. A rebel fighter said government forces were even infiltrating enemy lines by driving in cars bearing rebel flags. More than 1,000 people are believed to have been killed in Misrata since the fighting began in February. The fresh violence follows a day of intense bombardment by NATO on the capital city of Tripoli.
