EVACUATION

Thousands Flee Arizona Fire

The second-largest wildfire in Arizona history is forcing thousands of residents to leave their homes. The Wallow fire in the eastern part of the state has burned more than 300,000 acres since it began last month, and it now threatens to engulf some 350 structures. Governor Jan Brewer has declared a state of emergency in two counties. Across the border in New Mexico, authorities are preparing for evacuations.
