Google is reportedly in preliminary talks to by online video company Hulu. The talks come as Hulu's owners weigh whether to sell the company after receiving an overture from Yahoo. Microsoft is reportedly also interested. Hulu's rights to the current season's TV shows would give whichever company buys them an edge in the market for the growing number of people who watch shows on their computers. Hulu has rights to Glee, Modern Family, and the Daily Show, and receives 28 million monthly viewers. It's expected the company would seek the same valuation of $2 billion that Netflix has.
